Introducing The "BuddyUp
Program" -- a social skills *Survival Program* for middle school students
with Asperger's Syndrome.
The program will focus on social/cognitive skills
development and performance in the areas of Self-Advocacy and Organizational
Skills. Facilitated group activities integrating such skills as
perspective-taking, observation, and problem-solving will incorporate each
child's strengths and interests to achieve a balance between skills mastered
and those that need to be developed.
Students with prior foundational social skills instruction would be appropriate
for this program.
Program Specifics:
> 3-week program; Tuesday and Thursday
evenings
